Tips to Meke Your Site have a Good Rank on Search Engines

If you are preoccupied with learning how SEO works then understanding search engine (SE) ranking principles should be a priority. Where you rank in search results can define your place in the business world especially today when almost everything is going global or electronic.

Here are six search engine ranking tips to get you on your way. Tip 1: Get Links that lead persons to your page. The more sites with links to your page the better, especially if Google deems them as important

Tip 2: Watch what you insert here: < TITLE > tags in the < HEAD >. Your page’s title tag has a lot to do with where you fall on a search list. “Home” and “Directory” may not help you at all so make sure your titles are specific enough to carry weight, a page title “6 Great Search Engine Ranking Tips For you” will do better than just “Tips”.

Tip 3: Content is important to Google. In fact, it pays more attention to keyword density than most SE’s do. It is recommended that you achieve a keyword density between 2% to 3% for your articles.
